Malty, bready, big toffee, and nutty notes. Solid mouth feel, and good carb. Crisp, and clean, a good example of the style.

Bomber from the lcbo. Copper pour, small off white head. Aroma is alot of oak. Some apple, toffee, and vanilla round it out. But the oak is dominant with hints of rye spice. Carb is dull, mouth feel is normal. Finish is lightly bitter, with a huge earthy, oaky end. Subtle fruit come through, with vanillla and spice with some rye.

Found a 473ml can at the lcbo. Canned october 22, 2014. Very nice copper pour, with a medium white head with good lacing. I love beers that use rye! The malts are buscuity, and slightly spicy with the rye. Some really nice grassy slightly piney hops. A super pleasant medium bitter finish with a super solid cereal, rye malt finish, with a good hoppiness. A great ession ale, i would call it more of an english pale ale. Very impressed with this first brew. Nothing to blow your hair back, but its extremely well done.

Tomorrow Brew Co/Brew Aid Howl-O-Ween Lager 5% A lager brewed for Halloween and to raise money for cats in need. Crystal clear gold with thick white foam and grainy hay aroma with light herbal spice notes. Pretty big standard lager which due to the Halloween theme I was expecting some kind of seasonal twist. Disappointing.

Barley malt and grass/hay aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet lemon, barley malt, and mildly bitter grass/fresh hay flavor. Good body.

473ml can shared with my wife. Pours a clear pale yellow gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of ginger ale and honey with faint floral hops and grainy pale malt hiding in the background. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, ginger ale, honey and faint floral hops in a sweet finish. Light body with a sticky texture and average carbonation. A bit sweet. More like ginger ale than beer.

Lightly unfiltered, golden colour with an amber hue, and off-white head, decent stay and leaving creamy lacing. Definitely aromas of strawberries and cream, more on the essences and candy side. The taste shows a little more the beer side. Flavours starting on the creamy-strawberry notes, but the bitterness of the beer lingers in the finish. Kind of like a nice Pale Ale base, with some strawberries and mild cream essences. Interesting, and judging from other reviews - looks like this old can from December 2021 blend things better.

Good ginger flavor with the heat a little mellowed out by the honey. Happy Canadian Beer Day apparently?

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, foamy, short lived, brown head that laces. Sweet aroma of chocolate malt, caramel and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, cocoa, lactose, vanilla, hazelnut and coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. A great dessert beer that goes down easy.
