Bottle, 3.3% at Frederikshavn øl- og vinfestival 07. Cloudy, but shiny yellow colour. Small white head. Starts off with a wheat beer flavour, quite citric. Turns to a harsh bitterness, like in many other LA beers. With notable old, burnt plastic flavours. High carbonation. Might be an OK LA beer without the plastic flavour.

Bottle at Frederikshavn øl- og vinfestival 07. Black colour, small brown head. Buttery aroma. Hint of cardboard, but good powerful flavour. Starts with roasted malts and gets a little sweet towards the finish. Has some sweet and salty liquorice and a very late roast coffee aftertaste.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Svaneke Dobbel Brun". Hazy, amber golden with a dense, beige head. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Fairly light body with notes of roasted malt and a touch of fruit. Very, very dry without much bitterness. A somewhat odd beer. 080407

(50 cl bottle, purchased at "Ego & Green", Helsingör, Denmark) Tried as "Kjaerstrup Chocolate Stout". Clear dark brown color, brown head. Sweet chocolate and licorice scent, also tid-bits. Cocoa as well. Taste is smoke, chocolate, cocoa and licorice. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Chocolate swet aftertaste.

(Draught in Helsingør, Denmark at Gaestgivaregaarden) Shady brown color, tan head. Malty and a bit hoppy scent. Fresh hoppy and malty taste, a bit chocolate aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel. Medium bitterness.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma is mainly hops rounded with some malts. Taste is malty with light hoppy finish. Decent oily palate.
