(bottle) Dark brown colour with a big but diminishing light-beige foamy head. Dusty, sweet roast-malty aroma with cacao, coffee, liquorice and a shy sour-fruity note. Sweet roasty taste with caramel, liquorice and faint fruity aspects; sweet and moderately bitter finish with notes of dark chocolate and coffee (23.01.07).

(sampled at the Düsseldorf RB gathering) Slightly hazy, yellow colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly skunky, malty aroma with a touch of citrus. Light bitter, gassy flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Malty taste with light herbal and citrus-fruity notes; weak, slightly bitter, retronasal skunky finish.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Very pale yellow colour, almost like water. Strange acetic aroma and flavor. maybe this was an infected bottle. Exstremely watery palate.

Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent mostly lasting head. Very cloudy amber colour. Strange malty aroma. Where are the Juniper-berries? Not good sweet/Bitter flavor. Very messy beer. Creamy palate, but still one of the worst Svaneke I have tried. Drink Roskilde Enebørøl instead.

500 ml bottle. Extremely pale body with a white head. A weak hoppy aroma with some citrus acidity. Flavor is fresh, acid and a little stale. A bit strange, but interesting and low on alcohol. I don’t find so many interesting beers below 4% abv in my area. (Living on the south peek of Norway an considering Denmark to be a part of my area.)

Bottle. Yeasty aroma, a little malt, perhaps some brown sugar. Hazy brown colour, small head. The flavour is yeasty with a good, sweet aroma hop. Finishes with an OK bitterness to balance.
