$4.20 pint can, Wine Warehouse. Pours murky golden-orange with a small white head. Looks like juice. Aroma is tart grapefruit juice, a bit of funk, passion fruit, light floral notes. Flavor is tart passion fruit, grapefruit peel and juice, funk, yeast, dandelion greens.

Draft pour at Spacebar. Poured a dark black color with a small off-white head. Aroma was roasted chocolate, with a little bit of fruity notes. Flavor was roasted chocolate, pomegranate... Pretty interesting.

Probably the only kolsch I've had that is sour and calls itself sour. The other sour kolsches were just likely a mess up of some other style so the brewers called it a kolsch. Doesn't mean it's particularly good but then come on - what were you expecting from a sour kolsch. Hazy golden pour with a pillow of head and great lacing. Tangy and astringent, barky. Tap at Whole foods.
