Description
Redemption is one of the pioneering founders of London’s craft beer movement and was the first brewery in Tottenham, North London in almost 100 years. We started back in 2010 and are still brewing the kind of beers you'll love drinking with your mates at the pub today.

We are 100% independently owned and brew beers brimming with flavour and complexity, the kind of pint you'll find yourself returning to time and time again. Your new favourite.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Pig's Ear Beer Festival, London 7/12/2017. Reddish brown in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Some plain chocolate, ripe berry fruits, dusty hops, sweetish malts, leading to a soft finish with some warming alcohol. An enjoyable strong mild.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours darkest brown with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, oily, resin, cocoa, coffee cake, dried fruits, some oiliness, brunt fruit cake, must and some barnyard. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, oily, resinous, coffee grounds, chewy malt, dried fruits, alcohol kick, peppery spice, wood and some tannin through the finish. Medium+ body, low carbonation and oily mouth –feel. A bit toothy perhaps. Quite fun for a turbo-mild.

Cask, Handpull at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours deepest brown – black with a tiny white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, caramel, toffee, something artificial like playdough/plasticine, candied stuff and savoury notes akin to Hoisin duck. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, resin, salt & pepper, rather savoury, meaty, oily, Chinese cuisine, charred wood, tar, biscuit and toffee with a dry, tannin finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A particularly weird mix of flavours. I am not sold on this one...
