Description
Redemption is one of the pioneering founders of London’s craft beer movement and was the first brewery in Tottenham, North London in almost 100 years. We started back in 2010 and are still brewing the kind of beers you'll love drinking with your mates at the pub today.

We are 100% independently owned and brew beers brimming with flavour and complexity, the kind of pint you'll find yourself returning to time and time again. Your new favourite.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours clear amber with a bubbly head. The nose holds burnt toast, light earth. Lightly sweet flavour, with more toast earth, some salt, moderate bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes dry, with further toasted brown bread, burnt leaves. Nice stuff overall.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear amber beer, no head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation, odd that it throws no head because it is in nice condition. Smooth malts, trace of dark chocolate and a little caramel. A little dark malt tang. Ripe fruits, fairly rich. Mild spice. A little bitterness on the light dry finish. Good mild, plenty going on and avoids the blandness so many milds suffer from.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. Got the barman to poor another sample. This appears to be different from previous reviews. Low key aroma. Some citrus. Opaque gold. Creamy white head. Light bitter through to a medium bitter. Citrus bite. Malty tones. Thicker end of medium bodied. Slick. Soft carb. Abrupt finish. Slght astringent edge. Has character.

Cask at Craft Holborn - London. Pours deep brown with a tight, foamy khaki head. Nice mix of cocoa and cinnamon in the nose, some accents of pumpkin. Light-medium sweet flavour with mellow roast, bittersweet cocoa, burnt autumnal spices. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Good balance on the finish, with more cocoa, a little fleshy pumpkin, ashy roast, spices. Good execution.
