Description
Real cider and perry from the county of Herefordshire in England.

Oliver's make a selection of fine Herefordshire ciders and perries with an emphasis on "balance" and "character" coupled with "drinkability".

Based around the spontaneous ferment of selected varieties of cider apple and perry pear from fruit grown in Herefordshire and the surrounding 3 Counties orchards.

Nominally referred to as "minimal intervention", we strive to "take what the fruit gives", respecting the great heritage and traditions of the past but with an eye to innovating for the future. What that really means is we mill and press great fruit, expose the juice to marauding and hungry wild yeasts and then for our part blend and bottle the resulting ferments.

Bottle, 4.9%. Slightly hazy amber with small diminishing off-white head. Aroma is apple, tart, funk and apple peel. Flavour is apple, little sweet, funk, tart, medium dry, little over carbonated and apple peel.

Bottle. Dark yellow colour. Modrate apple cider. Moderate sweet light apple flavor. Average light apple finish. more cake than apple but still nice. Oily palate.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich apples, fruits, sulphur, stable, flowers and has a nice sweet semi dry finish.

Bottle, 6.5%. Clear golden with tiny head. Aroma is apple, fruit, fruit peel and a little funk. Flavour is apple, apple peel, little dry, medium sweet, little tart, little sulphur and a little citric.
