[i]Polypin at Merton Summer Beer Festival 6th July 2007 [/i] Ligtish in colour, pouring betwenna silver and a gold colour. Nice peary aroma, little bit of sweetness on the nose, sweetish in the taste but also nice fresh crisp bite, plenty of ripe pears in there.

[i] Bottle, picked up at Olivers, Ocle Pychard, Herefordshire[/i] Poured from a small 37.5cl corked bottle with a golden orange colour and pretty good clarity. This had a very smooth and sweet flavour the peary taste was there but in a much more mellow way than in some of the other single varietals.

Had this at the National Cheese Festival, Montpellier, Cheltenham, 30-09-06 from the CAMRA Cider and Perry stand. Very pale lemon coloured Perry, pears on the aroma and nice fruity pear taste, coming across as sweeter than the Orchards Blakeney Red that I’d had later and whilst very nice also less flavoursome.

Merton Beer Festival Sept’ 2004. Rather hazy pale yellow colour, nice quite tart pear taste not bad at all.

Bottle, pleasant enough dry Perry doesn’t have bags of aroma or taste for that matter but decent enough .
