Draft at the source, 14/07/17. Almost clear copper golden with a decent off white head. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, light honeysuckle, grains, biscuit. Taste comprises mellow fruit rinds, toffee, fruit loaf, brown sugars, toasted popcorn, soft breads. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close. Solid well balanced affair.

Keg at Schlosshof, 14/07/17. Rich golden copper with a decent light beige head. Nose is biscuit, caramel, bread, grains, airy malts. Taste comprises fruit rinds, light spice, caramel, fruit loaf, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Well balanced beer.

Keg at Schlosshof Zoigl bar. Pours dark orange gold with a good off white head. Aroma is grain, malt, a little grass. Taste is a good balance of grain, malt with a nice bitter finish. Nice carbonation. Good stuff

April 17: Tap @ Beim Gloser. Pours hazy Dark Golden with a White head. Fresh Malts- Caramel, grainy and baguette. Grassy hoppe slight bitter finish. Soft. Lovely! March 18: Diacetyl and DMS .. long live inconsistency. 3,1. I leave the High rating though.

On tap at Oberpfalzer Hotel Windischeschenbach. Hazy amber colour lasting white head. Some hop some malt on the aroma. Some fullness in the mouth. Light hop on the finish. Fine.

On tap at the brewery tap Windischeschenbach. Hazy brown amber colour lasting beige head. hoppy aroma and maybe some specialists malt spicy hoppy finish. Entertaining dtinking it in the alley outside as the room was full

On tap at Weisser Schwan Windischeschenbach. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. Some malt some amber malt some hop on the finish. The most full in the mouth so probably the best today. Some sherbet sting on the finish.

Frühschoppen beim Binner, 22.5.2015. - Schönes Braungelb, leicht trüb; gekrönt von einem Berg sahnig-lockeren Schaums. - Schöne hopfenwürzig-herbe, zart rauchige Nase, nur leichte Fruchtigkeit (Orangenschale). - Im Antrunk zarte Karamelsüße und angenehm herber Hopfen, perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Schwach rezent, schlank und weich im Mund, geht runter wie Öl. Im Abgang schön trockene, nicht besonders fruchtige aber hopfenherbe Bittere, zart rauchig. Sehr langer bitterer Nachtrunk. - Ausgezeichneter Zoigl, schön hopfenherb und etwas hopfenwürziger als die anderen. Woher wohl die rauchige Note kommt? Hier wurde doch gewiß kein Rauchmalz verwendet ...
