33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Bruges. Rated on 17.07.2010
Aroma is somewhat sour and sweet with malty notes, caramel and some spices. Flavour is sourish with sweet malty notes, some grain, toffee and caramel. A bit odd stuff, feels like a dunkler bock. Decent.

Tap at De Groote Witte Arend, Antwerp. Pours clear, pink-red with a small, white foam head. It’s a fine beer, lightly fruity, pretty mellow overall. The fruit character is on the light end, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Light bodied, finely carbonated with a crisp, quenching finish. Nice.

Bottle at De Groote Witte Arend, Antwerp. Pours cloudy gold with a large, frothy white head. Moderate doughy, bready aroma, lightly yeasty with some pleasant spice, straw and citrus. Medium sweet flavor with lightly spicy yeast, hay, dough. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Faintly warming to finish with biscuits, toasty straw. Very nice. A pretty classic Belgian blonde. Very drinkable.

Bottled. Brown with an ok head. Decent nose, chocolate, caramel, raisins, and a bit of spice. Flavor is nice enough, raisins and caramel leading the way. An ok bruin, nothing particularly wrong, though nothing special.
