Keg at Del Fuego, St. James, New York. Clear deep golden, small head. Fruity, mildly grapefruity nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with mild citrus. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle at a JFK Airport Bar, New York. Basic but proper classic Porter aroma of coffee, milk chocolate, roasted malt, and some caramel. Moderate sweet and roasty bitter, light creaminess. Medium body. Just good, invites drinking.

Very slightly misty gold with a frothy white head and a lovely hop aroma. Smooth with solid hop bitterness, sweet citrus and a dry finish.

Draught @ Third Ave Ale House, Manhattan (Mar 2024). Clear golden with a small foamy off-white head, faint citrus aroma, initially sweet later medium bitter citrus peel taste, smooth thin body, long citrus peel finish. Nice DIPA.

Draught @ Barcade St.Marks Place, Manhattan (May 2023). Opaque dark brown with a small foamy tan head, mocha aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter mocha taste with alcohol undertones, caramel, cocoa beans, faint vanilla flavor, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Complex and satisfying though the coconut is difficult to taste.
