12oz bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is roasted malts some light smoke and a touch of dark chocolate. Taste is more of the nice rich roast malts light smoke and ash.

Draught at Opening Bash: pours black with beige head. Aroma is light vanille, loads of chocolate, and coffee: taste is sweet, roasty, chocolatey. Good.

From a pint can at the Dec 7 RB gathering in McLean VA. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aromas of citrus and pineapple. Flavors are moderately bitter citrus.

On tap at Vauxhall in Huntington, pours a dark orange, brown with sticky off white head. Caramel, toffee, spice, malt, plenty of root veg. Flavor has more spice and now some blonde roast coffee to go along with the starchy and sugary notes. Off dry finish. 6 4 7 4 13
