Pours a very dark amber from a can, big piney/citrus hop aroma and flavor, mellow mouthfeel, very drinkable. Good beer.

Pours a nice clear gold from a can, little lacing. Aroma is a sort of bready something or other. Flavor is similar, a little spicy and sort of a medicinal bitterness going on too, in a good way. Good beer.

On tap at the taproom. Pours a clear copper gold with medium creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and grass. Medium mouth, juicy hop, pine, citrus, light bitterness, very good.

100th IPA rating. Pours a somewhat dark brown from a can, good lacing. Big hop aroma, grapefruit and grade B honey. A little spicy. Good beer.

Pours a clear straw from a can, a warm pour, quite frothy but quickly dissipated with no lacing. A nice sweet/bitter malt. Good beer.

On tap at Jack Allen’s kitchen Round Rock. Hazy medium amber under a small white head that leaves lots of tight lace. Nose is light grain and toffee with a touch of pepper. Flavour is lightlying sweet toffee with a slight lemon tartness and a touch of spice. Thin mouth with slightly soft. 6+/3/6-/3/12

Bottle shared at the level 42, 24/05/2016. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. Clear golden orange coloured pour with a a fading sticky white head. Aroma is spicy hop, peppercorn, little caramel, pine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet grains, juicy orange, caramel, pine resin, little jammy fruits. Palate is medium bodied, sticky, moderate carbonation. Hides the large abv quite well.

Bottle thx to Benzai, 2012 edition, large sample. Slight hazy dark brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma of cookie, slight roast, bit vanilla, some booze, dark choc, biscuit. Cookie and vanilla sweetness together with roast and dark choc in taste. Very nice.

Bottle shared with Caesar. Opaque black color, full sized beige to light brown head. Aroma is malts, bourbon, lightly booze. Taste malts, bourbon, moderately roasted malts, bitter, wood, a touch of liquorice, and a distant hint of chocolate. Medium body, suitable average carbonation.
