Pint at the brewery. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a medium, frothy, beige head. The nose is grapefruit peel, caramel, light perfume, pine bark, and gentian. Dry and bracingly bitter. Sticky, aggressive, and smooth.

Pint at the brewery. Pours a pale, opaque, yellow color, with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is heavy mango, juniper tips, black pepper, lemon zest, and hay. Sweet and sugary, with a nice, sharp bitterness. Medium body, with a smooth, lightly acidic mouthfeel and a biting finish. This is a quality and enjoyable hazy IPA. Not just straight OJ, which is nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, dense, tan head. Green apple aromas dominate. Some black bread, lemon, and pine. The flavor is sweet and phenolic, with a touch of bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with an acidic, slick palate. This is an unfortunate and pretty gross stout.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine & Liquor in Colorado Springs, CO. Pours a very dark brown color with ruby highlights and a tight tan head with very good retention. Fairly good lacing. Charred aroma. Very dark charred molasses flavor. Slick mouthfeel. Pretty clean. Almost no carbonation. Not my preferred stout style. At least the 7.1% ABV and 51 IBU are well hidden.

Got in a trade with beergoot. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, unreadable can dating. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of licorice, molasses, raisin, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/black/bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of licorice, molasses, raisin, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, woody, grassy, peppery, roast/charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark bread/crust, licorice, molasses, dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/black/bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with an awesome hop/char bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and fairly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.1%. Overall this is an excellent foreign stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/black/bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/charred/drying finish. Nicely soft feel, and not overly bitter/charred for the style. Awesomely well rounded English malt complexity; with great earthy hop presence/balance, and restrained fruity yeast. Light residual sweetness with lingering hop/char bitter dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively spot on style example.

Got in a trade with beergoot. 12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 1/16/2019. Pours fairly hazy deep orange/copper/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread dough/crust, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of nuttiness, roast, peppercorn, pine, wood, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. A bit malty/muddy aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/fairly earthy hops, and dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread dough/crust, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of nuttiness, roast, peppercorn, pine, wood, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/fairly earthy hops, and dark/bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Slight lingering chalky/resins. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.9%. Overall this is a very good amber ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/fairly earthy hops, and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; great soft feel. Feels like Cascade/Centennial. Juicy, lightly dank/earthy hops; balanced dark/bready Munich malts. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Pretty generic and underwhelming; but very enjoyable and well made for the style intent.
