Draft. Thank God I can see through this beer. That’s the best part thoigh. Aroma is light floral hay. Taste is lightly bitter citrus.

Pour is a thick motor oil black with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice roasted malt with some burnt caramelized dark sugar. Flavor is chcocolate and some of the vanilla with a heavy sweet roasted malt. I did not get much of the coffee but there is plenty of chocolate and vanilla along with a rich roasted malt. No dry chared malt here, this is nice and roasted with some sweet but flavorful adjuncts.

Pour is a hazy lemonade looking yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a nice citrus fruit hop with some green onion. Flavor is a very clean mouthfeel with a nice blast of citrus. It shows up and is gone in a flash. Nothing heavy or cloying about this beer. A decent light bodied but flavorful IPA.

Sample at NC Rare Beer Festival in Durham. Hazy to cloudy golden yellow color, big fluffy white head. Peppery aroma. Taste is very earthy. Interesting.

Can. Lactic lemon, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Yellow with small head. Mildly sweet-tart lemon, biscuit malt, mild salt, and lightly bitter straw flavor. Nice balance and body. Very tasty.

2 month old bottle A: Pours clear pale gold with 1/2" of thick white foam. Decent retention, good patchy lace and busy carbonation. S: Light but sharp lemon and sweet bread scent. A little zest. T: Sweet and sour bread in great balance with hop notes of lemon and pith. Zest and melon aftertaste. M: Medium bodied with fine beaded carbonation. Slightly chewy O: Really nice hoppy lager in all categories that I look forward to each spring.

3 week old bottle to IPA glass. A: Billowy snow white 1/2" head, good retention and great lacing. Finely hazed pale gold color with just a few small bubbles. S: Sweet orange, grapefruit, pith and mild bread. T: Sharp, bitter grapefruit pith and tart citrus, joined by a hint of hay and toast. M: Light medium in body and finely carbonated, finishing clean with almost no resin. I could easily drink several. O: While not outstanding, I found this quite good and worth buying.

Can from Salud. Jet black oily color, of course, large dark brown head with good retention, see pic please. Vanilla dominates the aroma, with chocolate next, then coffee. Vanilla dominates the taste too, with dark roast coffee. Thin body. Tasty enough.

Sample at the taproom. Slightly hazy straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Tart fruit, yeast and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of salty tart citrus, yeast and biscuit malt. The finish is tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.
