Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours darkish gold with a slight white head. Aroma is smoothly hoppy - must be a mix - but tropical fruit and citrus are probable. Full bodied. There’s a nice caramel backbone, and there’s a lot of hop - floral, citrus rind, and perhaps pine or earthy. It’s very hoppy, but not harsh. It’s finishing very hoppy, definitely bitter, but entirely refined. Excellent.

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear golden with a frothy and slightly bubbly offwhite head that is rather quick to dissipate while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is fruity, herbal and hoppy fresh with freshly cut grass, green grapes, pine needles, gooseberries, passionfruit, papaya, pineapple, crackers, cape gooseberries, moist wood, lemon zest, pink grapefruit juice and hints of dill and lemon balm. Taste is bitter, slightly fruity, tiny metallic and slightly herbal with pink grapefruit juice, lemon zest, pine needles, freshly cut grass, passionfruit, pineapple, lemon balm, dill, Thai basil, crackers and fruit infused black tea. Mouthfeel is dry, crisp, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter, tiny fruity and slightly herbal with crackers, passionfruit, dill, lemon balm, freshly cut grass, green grape skins and pine needles. Very refreshing session IPA.

Dark brown, stacks of coffee, no fig, just raw harsh coffee. Really no balance.

Light amber, aroma is med and vaguely fruity, a fair bit of bitterness. Not all that bright, mind you.

Hazy amber. Aroma is actually quite chewy. There’s some light fruity character, accented towards tropical fruit. On the palate, it is lighter, with brighter hops, albeit with a lot if crystal still messing with it.

Good lychee/rambutan just a hint of pale malt, good balance, light body for style and quite refreshing.
