Draft sample @ Berlin Braufest 2015. Orangée-ambrée, col blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez puissant mielleux acacia, bouquet fleuri noble assez léger, citronné restant dans le noble. Palais garde cette impression de miel d’acacia sur un fini assez organique. Malt pâle et cara, le tout légèrement collant aux lèvres. Houblonné noble, fleuri rappelant le Haller ou Mittlefruh.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, huge brownish head. Intense malty aroma. Starts strong-malty, roasty, some notes of liquorice, wood. Finish milder, less intense malty and almost a bit boring. Misses the special thing. Okay.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, intense hoppy, more and more grasy and quite bitter and dry. But still well balanced. Light alcoholic notes. Also a bit woody. Finish still strong. Dry-hoppy. Fruity notes of grapefruit. Nice!

Bottle at home. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Sourish aroma. Starts mild but quite sourish. Fruity like lemon, some grapefruit, bitter background. Sourish notes not too aggressive. All in all well balanced, finish with some spicy notes. Nice one!
