Bottle pour at Cider Hole, Sheffield Ratebeer mini-gathering 04Mar2023. Clear bright golden colour, no head and aroma of quince, citric, syrup, spice hint. Taste is sweet, concentrated quince, fruity, savory & woody hints, syrup, sugar and drying, slight tart. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, syrupy drying slick finish. Interesting, very sippable.

Bottle pour at Cider Hole, Sheffield ratebeer mini-gathering 04Mar2023. Clear deep amber colour, no head and aroma of baked apple, caramel, fruity, mellow, brown sugar. Taste is sweet, concentrated apple, apple pie, woody, syrup, honey, fruity, tannic, some walnut, and slight tartness. Oily mouthfeel, full bodied, low carbonation, sweet nutty syrupy apple finish. Very sippable

Aug. 2017: 200 ml corked and clear bottle, Lot no. 2014-1-1-21, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, at an outrageous price. ABV is 12%. Beautiful deep golden to orange / reddish colour, no carbonation. The aroma is not as great as I expected, dryish notes of oak and appleskin. The flavour is great though, intense notes of sweet concentrated apple juice, appleskin and oak, a hint of sulphites. Still not the very best ice cider on the market.

Aroma of oxidised apple must and funky cellar. Sample from the Danish boys, via Grumbo - cheers all! Amber gold colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of concentrated apple, fruity, oak. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, syrupy, caramel, pastry, apple pie, sugary, hint of oak, vanilla, and alittle tartness. Slick oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet and drying finish. Nicely sippable.

14/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener tasting. Denmark rating #200. Pours clear bright amber copper with a small bubbly off-white head. aroma of sweet apples, sulphur, caramel, sugars. Quite heavy sweetness, light tartness. Medium body, oily sticky mouthfeel, spritzy carbonation. Sweet apple finish. Pretty good.

ABV: 10.0%. Clear medium to dark red colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is apple, cherry, cherry stone, intense apples, rich. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, apple, cherry, rich, intense apples, medium dry to dry, light acidic finish. Body is medium, texture is creamy - watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming. [20230114]
