Description
We want to make wine for Nordic cuisine.
Fruit wine - well worth noting!
Although we can grow Rondo, Solaris and other grapes in Denmark, it will be difficult for us to compete with Germany and France when the quality and economy must match.
This is not the case with fruit wine.
Because we grow some of the world's best fruit in Denmark. The fluctuating temperatures during the growing season and not least between day and night, because the fruit gives a high acid content.
And the acid is just the most interesting thing with a winemaker's glasses.
These are fruity wines with lots of acid and fine fruit in the nose and taste.
Ideal companions for Nordic cuisine.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with no head to speak of. Very complex aroma of oxidized, candied apples. Medium body, the complexity of the aroma has somewhat vanished leaving mainly booze. 270925

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear golden with a short, fizzy head. Super dry apple notes with massive tannins. Medium body, fizzy - an initial apple sweetness that dries out and again leading to massive tannins. The sweetness does it good. 270925

Bottle pour. Pours clear copper. Pears and lots of caramelized sugars on the nose. Flavour has tons of caramelized pears, very gentle tannins, melted brown sugars. This is very good.

Dark amber. Bright. Aroma is mainly pears, the palate has a lot of richness. Nice richness, pear, good acidic bite. Good complexity, great flavour. Comparable to the Raven Ridge...I have only had a few iced perries but the concept just keeps working for me.

200mL bottle from Copenhagen Airport duty free, pours a clear copper. Aroma has plenty of stewed pears, toffee, caramel, and a bunch of sugars. Flavour is very sweet, with plenty of sticky toffee, stewed pears, and just a touch of acidity to cut through the sweetness a touch. Rich sugars and stewed pears on the finish. Lovely.
