Keg at the SLO brewpub, 30/04/14. Clear golden with carbonation well evident and off white spotting forming atop the glass. Nose is pale malt, trace of honey, straw, faint caramel. Taste comprises light citrus, bread dough, straw, touch of honey. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Yup - there’s a small dollop of honey in this one but ultimately its a tedious affiar that offers little.

Keg at the brewpub in SLO, 30/04/14. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is blueberries, light spice, wheaten bread, sugary notes, berry fruit medley. Taste comprises much the same, pretty 1D stuff, blueberries, pale malt, straw, sweet notes. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, crisp clean execution. Ok as fruit beers go, the carbonation level keeps it drinkableand stops it from getting sticky sweet, ideal beer on a tasting flight as I wouldn’t be looking for a whole lot more!

Nose is caramel, light spice, fruit rind, brown sugars. Taste comprises light coconut shavings, caramel, biscuit crumble, soft fleshy fruits. Medium boded, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Keg at SLO brewpub, 30/04/14. Dark amber veering towards chestnut brown with a good sized light beige head that retains well. Nose is caramel, light fruit, toffee apple, hint of spice. Taste comprises rich caramel, light booze, candyfloss, candied orange peel, pomegranite, pinch of spice, winter cheer! Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boozey soak and sweet licks. Decent enough offering.
