Another hazy ipa, will it be different? Doubtful. I got this 12 oz can, born on date of 1/12/22, at the local craft beer store. The tastings this evening have been in a globe glass, no reason to change. An interesting nose, mango and grass. I take a drink, actually this is decent. Oranges, pineapple, grass, a bit of pine and varnish. A good representation of the style.

It's a pretty smooth balanced not too sweet pastry stout. But horchata? Or anything special?

Can/Fest. A- Citrus, slightly dank. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Citrus, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Don't get yuzu persay but it had a definite citrus profile. Pretty standard ipa by all accounts.

Can from Smokes n Suds. Pours orange with a pink hue, large off white head. Aroma is ripe with tropical fruits, mainly guava. The guava adds a nice depth to the flavor, mainly tropical fruity sweet and a little bit of salt on the back end. Mildly sour.

Bottle from Total Wine in Spokane. Nearly black pour with a modest tan head. Aroma is sweet from the barrel treatment with coffee and roast. Big boozy taste with more barrel sweetness and underlying coffee and chocolate tones. High abv is noticeable, but not overwhelming. A sipper for sure.

Draft at Double Tap, Boise. Pours a opaque golden orange with a fluff of white head. Tropical fruity sour nose, the passion fruit stands out. Tastes more sweet and fruity than sour, very approachable. Mostly tropical fruit and hints of tangerine.

2019 version, 9.9% abv, all shown on the label of my 12 oz bottle that was acquired last November at a Ft. Worth Total Wine. I can say not my best style but I think Odell is top level as a brewer. The glass is a globe from New Belgium, it receives the pour now. A glossy, medium dark brown liquid with a fair sized head of silver-tan foam. I smell some dark fruit, wood and grain. And the taste is really pretty all right. Plums, oak, earth, syrup, a bit of caramel sweetness, dense wheat bread and raisins. Not bad all things considered.
