75 cl bottle thanks to Nisse666! Sampled on March 2, 2013.Marked 2% ABV.Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, apple, light touch of butter, a bit vinous/white wine scent, also applesauce. Apple, tart, some tannins taste. Medium mouthfeel, tart bitter aftertaste.

Bottle sample, small head, quite clear and just a touch deep gold colour, aroma of apples and rubber with a whiff of smoke, a melange of apple flavours, very sweet with just a touch of sourness. nice and easy to drink but just a little too sweet.

750 c&c from a shop in Arromanche, Normandy. Pours light silver/gilt (or like pear juice!) with quite a bit of sparkle. Clean, slightly sweet smell of nicely ripe pear. Near med body. Flavor is striking. Mildly sweet, then lightly astringent, then somewhat tart. All the while tasting of ripe pear. Pretty tasty. Perhaps the sugar level is a bit high. Perhaps. But at 3% that’s probably appropriate. Wish I had a baguette with jambon for this to wash down.

Bottle 750ml.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy apple, dry apple, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, dry dry. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20100912]
