Tap. Deep brown to black, opaque. Little creamy nitro head. Roasted malts, coffee, brandy, smoke, iodine on nose. Full body. Smooth creamy palate. The flavour is nicely balanced with notes mentioned for aroma. Light bitterness. Very good. Impressive

500ml bottle from Koht, Tallinn. Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth white head. Aroma of roasty malts, hops, salty licorice, tar, tobacco and ashy notes. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and grainy with some hints of fruits, earthiness and licorice. Finish is hoppy, herbal and slightly roasty with some licorice and coffee. Okay.

Draft. Cloudy orange to amber, two fingers frothy head. Smells of raspberry & spicy yeast. Light to medium body. Oily. Dryish taste. Fruity besides raspberries that don’t ruin the composition. Too attenuated for a Saison. Still good enough.

50cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy deep amber with a lasting, off-white head. Fruity aroma with tropical fruits, citrus, caramel and hints of pine and herbs. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a fairly strong bitterness. Feels quite balanced in the end anyway, at least the alcohol is well integrated. Fruity, powerful and rather tasty.

Bottle from Alus Celle, Riga/Latvia. Pours dark brown bit of foam, not much though. Drinking this beer now because it was leaking a bit after a long flight and would have probably gotten stale if not drunk asap. Aroma slightly sour, bit of soft roast and dark fruits, prunes. Taste is actually relatively bitter, albeit the body is sweet as a sugar candy. Bitterness lingers for longer, somewhat grassy hop character, leaving raw green apple impression. Body does not feel heavy, quite light and that is all good in my book. Not so sure about the Belgian ingredient in this beer, feels more like a hoppy young barleywine. Overall, well made.

50cl bottle from the shop in Parnu pours a watery, but translucent, dark brown with some creamy, lacing, tan head. Nose is heavy with bread crust, rubber and toast, pine too, mild molasses. Flavor is sweet with malt and a little molasses, then big blood orange and pine and toast. Finishes a little slick, a little sweet and a little bitter. Not bad though.

440ml bottle from Crafter Beer Shop in Moscow. The first sour ale I rated was later reclassified as a fruit beer, so I suppose this is my first sour rating. Pours opaque gold with an off-white head. Big aroma of blackcurrant, citrus and floral notes. Taste is sour blackcurrants, lactic.
