BOTTLE 50 CL. Both the aroma and the flavour are dominated by „green” hops with notes of pungent resins. Feels like your smelling and chewing a hop pellet. Very dry with a spicy and bitter astringent finish. The only thing that is black is its color. Kind of harsh and unrefined.

BOTTLE 50CL at 6.9% abv. Strong grapefruit aroma, along with some flower perfume, pine and caramel. Not much tropical fruit though. The flavour is similar, quite „pungent”, with not much bright fruitiness, the strong bitter piney finish is clean and dry. Well done.

BOTTLE 50 CL from sharkydodson. Starts with some nice coffee aroma, black malts and even some hops - but, unfortunately, doesn’t last long. The flavour is clearly coffee, some acidity (that does not feel like and off-flavour), mostly dry but still with some „black” sweetness, moderate roasted and hoppy bitterness, some ashes. Lightish body. Not sure where the oats are. In the end, a bit of everything but not spectacular as a whole.

500ml bottle from Piligrim in Moscow. This is my first saison. Pours cloudy amber with a big white head. Spicy, yeasty aroma. Taste is slightly peppery. Dry finish. It’s like a spicy witbier. Not sure if I don’t like this beer or the style per se.
