500ml shared with Shiggy. Clear, dark honey, frothy pour. Cooked apple, rice, charry oak nose. Aged smooth but obviously sweet & smokey whiskey. Bitter tart apples, rubber, floral sweet, lots of earthy & veggie apple skin. Maybe a touch too heavy on barrel. Complex & better than expected.

500ml split with Shig, Jamie & a TBD panda. Clear, medium pale gold, slight frothiness. Sweet, dessert-y, mellow acid, veggie sweet nose. Blended whiskey, semi-sweet, weak oak, dessert apple with syrupy pear juiciness, iffy spice, slight plastic. Middling acid, mellow tartness, quiet booze, a little thin. Kinda good, just not as good as the other bottles.

Draft pour enjoyed at Chuck's CD. Peach colored pour. Very inviting cider here for my usual taste. Love a little heat there. Though this one didn't quite heat up enough, it's not their fault I like it turned up past the average cider drinkers comfort level. Rich strawberry jam nose with apple as more of an afterthought. Apple jumps out first on taste, and has a long and slow transition through berries and peppers. The peppers are just barely there, and if I didn't know they were there, there is a chance I would have missed them. All things considered though, this is a solid product, especially if you bore easily on the plain apple ciders.

Black 750ml bottle from Press online. Had to add it for you lazy PNW folk. Clear, deep honey amber pour, very little if any head. Plastic funk, grassy, bittersweet, caramelized, horse. Earthy, bittersweet, leaning sweet, heavy barnyard, a little varnish, phenolic, plastic, boiled down sweetness. Crispy, medium-hard carbonation, syrupy, just boozy enough, tacky. A dense, good sipper.

500ml bottle from Press online. Clear, spirited, medium gold pour with a thin, quick-hitting soda head. Bittersweet apple nose & some savory+earthy honey butter with some pushy backsweetened fresh juice on the back sniff. Taste is earthy & mildly waxy upfront, with a halfsharp middle that eventually dried out & becomes all about tannic apple skin with a touch of honey floral on the very back. A squeak of apple peel essence lingers once it's all quiet. Watery initial feel with obvious honey body, intentionally. Carb is having a hard time. Abv isn't too tough but it isn't quiet either. Solid.
