Dark amber, sweetish vanilla and barrel, candy cherry, candy vanilla. Definitely comes across artificial.

500ml medicine bottle from Press online. Month on the shelf, a day in the fridge. Served a touch cool. Baby Duvel glass @home. Sparkly, weak head, slightly dull, honey gold. Sweet, cooked down apples, sharp berries, saline, strong corriander-butter-savory baked pear nose; Very potent. Taste is bold, minerally-sweet, floral-dry pears. Buttery upfront sharp apples, creamy-floral & caramelized sweet-tart pears. The blend leans significantly sweet but has a good amount of acid & sharps to hold it up. Veggy tannic, minerally, drying finish is a small blessing. Touch of sulfites on the tail. Kinda good & building, considering it was made with an extensive trash panda sort of harvest & wasn't pricey. Liked.

500ml stubby from Press online. A few weeks of napping in the basement. Pint glass @home. Clear, bright, active, lingering soapy froth. Sweet, browned apple nose, damp leaves, faint orange spice. Taste is mildly sweet & sharp. Oaky pith, macerated pineapple, toasted sugar, leathery backdrop, pedestrian lemon acid finish. Medium low carbonation, runny texture, lingering pineapple, sulfite-y residual. The leather pops back around on the burps. Approachable. Blend/ratio is a little ho-hum.

Bottle from press. Goblet @home. Cloudy, mostly still, dark Lipton tea pour. Caked yeast, earthy, old leaves, dried currants, significant but kinda stuffy. Earthy, plenty tannic, slightly creamy, medicinal berry, middle high acidity, murky mushy half-sweet fruit, very faint tartness that pokes out near the end, chalky fruit vitamins, three quarters dry Aspirin finish. Mushy feels, kinda juicy, bigger than average abv. Meh. Though it went up a touch after some leftover Easter ham.

500ml bottle from Tavour. Looks like white grape juice, fizzy head. Aroma is apples, grassy, earthy. Hoppy notes crop up with in the taste, light juniper, tart apple. Small buzz on the palate lingers.

Clear gold. Light funk and lots of apple peel. Light funk and a touch of peel. Very dry and a touch funky.

On tap at Schilling Cider House - Seattle, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with fire roasted pepper and subdued crisp apple skins. Flavour is fiery, with lots of fresh jalape�o, crisp apple skins, and low residual sweetness. Really nice pepper character. Not the most complex cider out there, but they did a great job with the pepper roasting.
