Bottle received from Winter Santa 2013/2014. Thank you pushkinwow! Pours hazy yellow with a frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly fruity, slightly herbal and tiny earthy with crackers, biscuits, grapefruit juice, moist grass, pine needles, sun-dried pineapple, unripe mango, lemon zest and hints of moist soil and lemon balm. Taste is bitter, slightly fruity and slightly herbal with crackers, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, moist soil, resin, orange zest, lemon zest, minerals, unripe tropical fruits and resin. Mouthfeel is slightly crisp, dry, slightly oily bitter, slightly astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter, tiny fruity and tiny herbal with crackers, grapefruit juice, moist grass, pine needles, orange zest, lemon zest, lemon balm, resinous wood and moist soil. Solid tasty IPA. Would love to try a fresh bottle at some point.

Bottle weekly tasting. Etched glass. Pours black tan head. Nose/taste of roast chocolate, pine, cocoa, mocha pie and grass. Medium body.

Wow!!! Merci d’avoir brassé ça! L’équilibre est parfait entre le côté riche et torréfié et le goût résineux. En date d’aujourd’hui, votre bière est ex aequo au premier rang de mon palmares perso ;)

Bottle: Poured a clear light amber color ale with a nice large foamy had with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light fruity ester and rustic malt with some residuals sugars is quite nice. Taste is a mix between some light fruity ester with rustic malt light peppery yeast notes and some subtle zest notes. Body is lighter than style average with good carbonation. Well brewed overall and quite enjoyable even though the grapefruit notes are not as clearly evident as advertised.

Bottle from vertbaconstrips I brought to RBSG St. Louis. Pours amber with tan head. Nose/taste of bourbon, oak, vanilla, caramel and lightly sweet molasses. Medium body.

Bottle: Poured a clear dark color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of green citrusy hops with light piney notes. Taste is dominated by light citrus notes with some good piney notes and some medium roasted malt notes. Body is bit light for style with good carbonation. Great beer with more focus on the hops profile than the roasted malt side.

Pours a slight hazy deep amber with a small warm cap, not much retention, but some head stays on the top, and around the ring. Fruity aromas with caramel and some light alcohol, creating some burnt caramel desert nose. The alcohol is well blended in the taste with some fruity malts and nice mild hop bitterness. The rum barrel does add to this beer and can be tasted. Goes down smoothly with a beautiful warming feel. This is a great sipper and recommended on the back of the bottle with a cigar, cheeses or chocolate.

Flavor though is ordinary, not much roasted flavor and the hops are not very aggressive. No coffee, chocolate flavors either

Bouteille 660ml. Couleur jaune très pâle translucide, mousse blanche aérienne et fugace. Arôme de malt, levure, citron, herbal, banane léger? Goût de céréales, levure, légère âcreté, zeste de pamplemousse en fin de bouche. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen-faible.
