Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a clear yellow body and a white head. Aroma of coriander, clove, vegital, orange and perfume (sort of like a more upscale BL Wheat). Taste is watery with orange and coriander. Watery mouthfeel.

On tap @ Uinta. Dark copper color with small white head. No lace left on the glass. Pumpkin, nutmeg and spicy aroma. Tastes the same as the smell. Finishing with a sour taste in my mouth. It is much better than most Pumpkin ales on the market, though.

On tap at Uinta. This beer is much better on tap than bottled. Nice golden color with a white head, leaves a light lace on the glass. Floral aroma and citrus taste. Plenty of simco hops, well balanced beer.

courtesy of ibrew2or3. pours clear golden, thin white head. Aroma of rye, some hints of orange, wheat, grassy hops. Flavor, wheat/orange is nice with some light spices and smooth palate, hints of rye with a crisp finish, overall weak mouthfeel. Light and refreshing.

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very sweet wtih strong notes of over ripe fruits and prunes as well as medium notes of wood and light notes of bourbon. The flavor is very sweet with notes of over rip fruits, wod, and bourbon, towards the finish the bourbon becomes very powerful - too powerful for my liking. The alcohol burns the tongue.

Courtesy of douglas88. 12oz bottle pours clear gold with copper hues and off white head. The mild aroma tosses up notes of citrus, pine and malts. The taste begins kind of neutral then growing into orange and grapefruit hop bitterness. By midway a pulse of sweet malts move forward and then fade leaving mostly citrus and pine like hop bitterness. The sweet malts return as a thin layer of citrus hops hanging around in the after taste. It seems it could us some late boil addition hop flavor to balance out what tastes mostly like hop bitterness.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is citrus, honey and bread. Taste is bread with very faint citrus notes. Flavor is rather thin. Body is thin-moderate. Smooth.

Appearance: Clear burnt orange, with a thin head
Flavor: Like the nose: light, simple pumpkin spice and malty flavor
Palate: It is relatively light in body and smooth, pretty easy to drink
Overall Impression: This is a decently average and light beer. I wouldn't go out of the way to try this one, but if you are looking for a fairly simple example of the Pumpkin Ale style, this one would work pretty well. The spice is fairly mild compared to others of the style. Overall beer opens a bit as it warms so I'll bump up my overall score a point. Decent beer.

Bottle from Bières Sans Frontières, GBBF 09. Off-white head resting on top of a clear amber-reddish body. Slight lace. Firm hoppy aroma. Fresh flavour of succulent oranges with gently hints of malty sweetness. Bittered fruits to the finish, gradually becoming dry. Soft in the mouth. Summer taste. A nice one (Earls court, hotel room 06.08.2009).

XVI Anniversary Small, furtive beige to greige head over very deep brown beer with beautiful Burgundy reflections. Rich nose with cake, hops, alcohol; touches of seaweed and overripe banana - and "some" malts. More of this in the taste, but better integrated, making it more difficult to pick out individual associations. Alcohol is definitely there, both in taste as in MF. Fruity esters (again ripe banana, grapes), and fusels. Again somethig as from the sea, as well as raw tobaccojuice flavour. Very well bodied, well balanced. Serious B.W., extremely likeable. 1O.4 % ABV??? Can somebody explain to me as how they get away with that in Hormonia Capital?
