Bottle courtesy of Gnoff. Pours very tiny cloudy deep golden leaving some beautiful legs on the glass. Smell is intense with ripe aromatic apples, star fruit, blue cheese, vanilla, minerals, alcohol and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, sour and heavy fruity. Mouthfeel is viscous, oily, round, tart and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and sour with apples, star fruit, pineapple, minerals, alcohol and lemon peal. Amazing tropical fruit character. Intense and just great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre de Glace (Ice Cider) on 15 Aug 2015 at 13:40 - Score: 8

Bottle picked up at M & S, Oxford and consumed at Cropredy, Fairports Annual Reunion Festival 2015, Thurs 13th shared with Craig, Pluckett, Alec, Nellie, Bob (it was very popular) Rich golden colour, you can see that this is has a thick consistency with oily legs. Sweet concentrated appley aromas, some oak, this is apple pie territory with thoughts of nutmeg and cinnamon also thrown in there to confuse you. The flavour is along similar lines, but like Pluckett quite correctly notes that intense sweet apple just stays with you. This is seriously good, like a top notch dessert wine, love it. Bottle - Vintage 2009 - Lots of apple peel. Clear gold. Acidic and lots of peel with bubbly bright notes on the tongue. Decent, but not what I expected.

Very nice a light golden color. good alcohol legs. The smell is intense! wow. sweet, loads of baked apples, cinnamon, brown sugar. Taste is just as aweome! the thickness is very well balanced. There’s some moldy rotten raisin in this but there is some other off-flavor. still an exceptional cider but not great for the price given.

Bottle from Montreal Airport; synthetic cork
Measured Final Gravity: 1061
Bright copper-amber color. Strong aroma, stewed apples, caramel, mushroom (porcini), earthy; unexpected but nice. Sweet, syrupy; it has some very interesting qualities, earthy, whiskey, with moderate acidity, a lot of warming alcohol, some oak.
Delicious, different from other Quebec Ice Cider, weird.

Bottle - Apple and some odd artificial notes in the nose. Clear copper. Sweet rich barrel and boozy notes with light spiced apple. More of a Woody spiced sweet liqueur. Very nice.

500mL bottle, pours a dark bronze. Nose is very complex, with caramelized apples, a little plastic, and some oak. Flavour is quite hot, with caramelized apples, whiskey, apple brandy, and some considerable heat. This is unique compared to other Quebecois ice ciders -- it has a more boozy and smoky notes. Wow... elegant, complex and an absolute delight to drink. Amazing stuff.
