Gulbrun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter honning, epler og gjær. Middels fylde. Smaker epler, druer. Svært tørr.

Bottle 120817. Golden color with no head. aroma is mature apple, sourness. Flavor is apple, sourness, mature apple, acidic. Nice/OK cider.

Bottle. Courtesy of Gunfryd. Clear pale golden body with a fast disappearing white head. Aroma of fresh, slightly acidic apples with a hint of sulfur. Flavor is quite refreshing, light acidic apple, apple cores and a little hint of sulfur. OK quite straight forward apple cider.

Small bubbly shortlasting head, straw colored. Aroma is dry sour-ish, apple cores, apple peel, hay, grass, minerals, sorrel, alcohol, sour apples. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, sour apples, sorrel, apple cores, sweet yellow apples, grass, apple peel, hay, minerals, yeast. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Fair enough, the regular Alde cider is better...

750 ml corked & caged clear bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Made in 2016. Pale golden colour, pours fizzy with a large but shortlived head. Aroma of sweet dessert apples and sulphites. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Flavour of sweet apples and appleskins, drier finish with hints of sulphites. The ordinary Alde Sider is better.

750 ml corked & caged green bottle, vintage 2016, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Apple varieties are Discovery, Aroma and Gravenstein. Very pale yellow colour, pours sparkling with a white shortlived head. Strong and beguiling aroma of said dessert apple varieties. Hints of oak and sulphites. Semi-sweet flavour of dessert apples, a hint of sulphites. Expensive, but worth it.

75cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Oslo City. Opened in Tromso. Pours clear gold, thin white ring of head. Light fresh apple juice aroma. Taste is vibrant fresh raw apple fruit.. you really do get a good feel of the Discovery apple here with a hint of skin bitterness and one or two pips thrown in for good measure. Very enjoyable, flavoursome, clean cider. A little more tannin wouldn’t go amiss but on the whole very good indeed.
