19/6/2021. Bottle shared with Dan & ITFCfan at the Euro's beer share. From the brewery direct. Pours clear pale amber with a frothy white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, floral, biscuit, citrus, caramel, touch of sour fruits. Moderate sweetness and sourness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, above average carbonation. Not especially keen on this.

Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, mashed fruits, yeast, grain, touch of banana. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Okay.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Clear, dark, mahogany colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Toasty malty and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of toffee, red and dark berries, a touch of liquorice, minimally waxy overtones. Taste is toasty malty, hints of liquorice, toffee, a touch of dark caramel, hints of dark fruit, plum, dark berries, a touch of red berries, whiffs of instant coffee. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. Nice composition, slightly overcarbonated (maybe stored too long) - nice.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Opalescent, amber colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Earthy, floral, hoppy aroma, relatively neutral, malty background, slightly fruity, minimally waxy hoppy overtones with a touch of rhubarb. Taste is moderately bitter, floral, minimally earthy, slightly fruity hoppy, notes of petals, hints of rhubarb, rather neutral, malty basis. Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, foamy, prickly carbonation. Relatively intense, minimally overcarbonated - OK.

27/12/2020. Bottle shared virtually at the post-Christmas Tears For Tier 4 bottle share. From the brewery. Pours clear mid-brown with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is nutty, malty, milk chocolate. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Stout bitter. Yeah ok.

20/12/2020. bottle bought direct from the brewery. Pours very dark brown with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, toffee, liquorice, ash, dark fruits and light berry notes. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Sixth beer I've had from this brewery and first that I can say I enjoyed.

10/11/2020. Bottle bought direct from the brewery. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain, caramel, butter, light fruit and a little stewed veg. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a slight tart edge to begin with. Moderate moderate, watery oily texture, above average carbonation. Sweeter finish. Looked good but not great otherwise.
