5 oz draft on a Krampus flight. Solid black, just a trace of foam around the edge. I'm actually getting a nose of coconut here. From the barrel, maybe? Them a whiff of cocoa. The taste: THERE'S the chili that so many pastry spots promise but rarely deliver. Cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla are all there, but not enough to overwhelm the chili burn. Thick mouthfeel really helps, too. (Second from left in my photo, if that matters.)

5 oz. taste. Flat black with a thin ring of foam. Cocoa and marshmallow in the nose, and a bit of chocotini. Chocolate liqueur dominate the taste. Smooth all the way down, no roastiness. Now getting a chocolate milk hit.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Translucent mahogany brown color. Frothy tan head. Mild toasted malt aroma has notes of fresh-baked brown bread. Flavor is sweet roasted malt, toffee, chocolate, dried fruits and toasted walnuts. Wonderfully complex while being smooth and easy drinking. Delicious.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright amber with a moderate creamy beige head. Aroma has lots of evergreen. Med body. Dry, lightly smoky with lots of non-pine evergreens. Hint of gin/juniper. Very dry in the finish. Lightly astringent. Decently bitter. It is very tasty indeed.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy orange with white head. Fruity, tropical, sweet and bit sugary. Just way too sweet for me.

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy yellow orange with small white head. Sweet cinnamon cookies, vanilla, not fan of the style, but this actually works well.
