Can. Pours inky black, motor oil, small brown head, ring of lacing. Aroma is heavy roast, molasses, bourbon, earthy, leather. Flavor is medium sweet, quite bitter, heavy. Full body, silky mouthfeel. Old school

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden pour, skin of foamy head. Light grapefruit peel aroma with a hint of dank. Dank pops out more in the taste, citrus, light floral notes. Really nice feel, a little zest and a little bitterness. Luscious.

Can from Tavour. Pours extremely light gold - almost perry - with a moderate white head. Near med body. Flavor is bready malt supporting light grass/spice. Expected citrus, but not getting it. Refreshing, but the flavor is very light.

Draught @ Beer Shop, Oak Park (Jan 2024). Very dark brown with a very small frothy dark beige head, dark chocolate-oak-whiskey aroma, low carbonation, initially sweet dark chocolate-bourbon taste, woodsy flavor, alcohol undertones, smooth body, long chocolatey finish with alcohol aftertaste. It was like drinking liquid chocolate laced with whiskey.
What an incredible amount of caramel and whiskey notes, in a good way. Dunno if it's cause sloppy Sunday or this is just that unique but it's got tons of 1792 soaked rolo vibes. And I love me some 1792. Chocolatey caramel whiskey brownies love!

16oz can pours out dark brown amber highlights topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet caramel toffee dark roast malts and bourbon barrel. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts rich caramel burnt toffee leather bourbon barrel.
