Bottle share cheers to Shaun; hazy yellow pour with big white frothy head, hay aroma, some farmyard funk in the taste, some citrus notes, quite a decent hit of sourness.

9/V/13 - 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: n/a (2013-451)

Clear deep blond beer, big creamy solid white head (grows in the glass overtime), stable and adhesive. Aroma: is this champagne yeast? I think so. Bit woody, fruity, peaches. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, pretty bitter, weird sour touch, almost bretta-like, woody, yeast. Aftertaste: apple skin, sourish, woody, citrus, bitter touch, dry ending. Nice beer. But is this worth +20€ a bottle? HELL NO!

Bottle shared at Bruce’s 30th Birthday Bash - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Kenneth the Great. Pours clear yellow-gold with a fine, white foam head. Sugary white bread in the nose. Tangy flavor, lots of pale malts, light hay. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Doughy-bready malt finish, faint tangy notes. Not bad overall.

Bottle thanks to Ken. It pours hazy golden yellow with a large white head. The nose is tart lemon, sherbet, hay, grapefruit light farmyard and faint sourness. The taste is sherbet, lemony, granny smith apple, grapefruit, acidic edge, minerals and well-hidden alcohol. Medium body, fine carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Well balanced and rather refreshing. Pretty tasty methinks.
