Description
Brouwerij Praght is ontstaan vanuit een levenslange passie voor bier. Al in 1986, op 14-jarige leeftijd, is eigenaar Maurice Bouma begonnen met het thuis brouwen van bier met een zelfgebouwde brouwinstallatie! Wat begon met het het thuis brouwen van bier met een eigen gemaakte brouwinstallatie is uiteindelijk uitgegroeid tot wat het nu is: een brouwerij van Praghtige kwalitieits bieren!
En het einde is nog niet in zicht. Zo beschikken wij sinds januari 2017 ook over een eigen distilleerderij en mouterij en staan er nog meer zaken op stapel.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours clear dark golden with an off white head. Aroma of herbs, light weeds, coriander, light spice, caramel, light fruits and yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Deep dark brown to black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, koetjesreep, some roasted malts, alcohol, raisins, wine. Flavour is sweet, koetjesreep, fake milk chocolate, roasted malts, fruity sweet, alcohol, light bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Not great, previous version was a lot better.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, hopped with Centennial, Chinook, Amarillo, Columbus. Clear amber-orange colour, dense rocky off-white head. Aroma of yeast, light plastic, caramel, some toast, sweet citrus, light hops. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, sweet citrus, some nice hops, yeasty bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Too yeasty, not enough hops.

Bottle. Black pour, white head. Aroma of licorice, roasted malt and soft wheat. Taste of licorice, sweet coffee, amber malt and a little iron. Bit thin body. Not bad, but not very interesting.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, BB 12-12-15, large sample. Slight hazy dark redbrown color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of soft roast, bit fruity, blackcurrant, spicy yeast, raisin. Some raisiny sweetness in taste, bit dry, spicy. More of a rochefort type of beer instead of an export stout. A bit disappointed by the fact they completely miss the style indication. Beer itself is ok, but I expected something completely different. -0.4 for style abuse.

Fonefan 241014. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is smoked , caramel, fruit. Flavour is hop, bread, malt, hop, smoked , yeast, caramel, fruit. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Fonefan 241014. amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, caramel, malt, fruit. Flavour is yeast, caramel, malt, fruit, cherries. Medium body. A little bit weird .
