Bottle @ home. Very hazy some sort of dusty red color, full sized off-white head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is malts, nice sticky hops. Taste malts, hops, sticky hops almost like a barley wine, bitter. Medium to full body, decent and suitable carbonation. Quite nice.

Bottle from Bierkonig. Cloudy orange with a frothy head. Aroma of spicey hop. Flavour is spicey caramel, dull bitterness, dry spice, sticky jam and yeast finish.

Bottle at Gekke Geit, The Hague. Cloudy golden with a small tan head. Aroma of citrus, big orange peel, caramel malt and tropical fruits. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sample from bottle @ De Molen, thanks Roel. Cloudy amber color. Frothy off white head. Aroma’s: hopjuice, citrus, some caramel. Retronasal it’s sourish, herbal hops, sweetish. Flavor is bitter with a moderate sweet backbone. Medium to full bodied. Bitter finish. Nice one!

Bottle from Biernavigatie. Dark brown colour, creamy white foam. Nose of roasted malts, berries, dark fruit, pure chocolate and port. Well balanced. Nice beer!

33cl Bottle from Burg Bieren. Black colour, thin beige head. Aroma of chocolate, orange, coffee, cocoa beans, toffee. Flavour is medium sweet, cocoa beans, not as much coffee as you’d expect, chocolate, toffee, hint of vanilla and orange, light resin, bitter earthy and roasty finish. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Nice.
