From tap at the brewpub during InSea congress 24.07.25. Clear orange amber. Beige head. Fine aroma and taste og sweet pale malt, caramel, rye bread and succade. Lingering bitterness. Well-balnced and good.

Tap at the brewpub. Golden body, clearish, with a thick off-white head. Dusty, herbal hop-driven aroma, simple and not terribly enticing, but works. Creamy, fairly clean light malty taste, some white bread crust, some bitterish herbal hoppiness. Traces of restrained diacetyl slickness to help things along, but without negative impact on the aroma and the flavor. Spot on, a classic example of the style. Ordered another one!

Tap at the brewpub. The guy behind a bar is a fucking legend I have to say, sniffed out immediately what I was in for, after correctly suggesting the Maisel, brought this one without even asking. Huge props! Anywho, to the beer. Subdued, bit chalky, mildly peppery aroma, some mild acetaldehyde. Soft taste, some grape candy touches, floral, herbal, peppery, light green apple here as well. Mildly bitter, lightly astringent. The least interesting of the three I hate to say.

Tap at the brewpub. Shiny, clear coppery-amber body, big thick off-white head. Light, creamy bready-caramelly aroma, vague green apple. Lean, dry taste, subdued caramelly notes, bit peppery mild herbal hoppiness, vaguely bitter, vague acetaldehyde. Interesting how dried out the body is. Quite Czech on one hand, quite atypical polotmavé on the other.

Tap at the brewpub. Clearish golden body, big, pillowy off-white head. Yeasty, oily, bit herbal aroma, got the Central European village brewpub vibes, but in the taste shows its Czech (as in country, not region) heritage as well. Bit oily, yeasty, clean maltiness though, with a nice, big bitter kick, quite pilsnerish in that regard, more so than the usual Moravian (am I gonna get tarred and feathered now?) which is on the avoid bitterness like the plague side frequently. Decent, bit flawed, might be due to me coming in just after opening, but a good one!
