Nice amber/brownish pour, and we got floaters! A nice 2 fingers of beige head round it off. Aroma is full of ripe fruit, apples, pears, plums, and figs, with some candi sugar, and quite a bit of alcohol. Flavour is BOOZY, very warm all the way down. Finishes quite sweet, with a big yeasty note. A perfect winter sipper. My bottles says it’s 13% not the 12 indicated here.

aroama is caramel, and ripe fruit. Very refreshing. nice and smooth, i can see myself having a lot of there on a hot summer day, nice stuff.

Bottiglia. Un arco olfattivo dominato dalla mela verde. La finezza olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, erba, agrumi, mela verde e rum.

Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma of malts, fruits, alcohol, not much else. Unpleasant sweetness and booziness. Onedimensional beer, no balance at all.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco, alcolico e fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, agrumi, frutta passita e alcol presente.

Il gusto al naso viene attratto da alcolico e da sottobosco. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto cristallino. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di perlage dalle bollicine fini, con carbonazione persistente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia amara, erbe aromatiche e frutta disidratata.

Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, herbs, sweet dark fruits, candy sugar. Flavour is heavy sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Cloying and sticky. Slightly boozy, but the high ABV is relatively well-hidden. I can see its appeal, but this way too sweet for my taste.

Aroma of slightly tart fruits, citrus, yeast with a hint of funk. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. Carbonation is rather high. A bit on the restrained side, but still a nice Saison.

L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di zuccherino, miele, frutta secca, agrumi e frutta passita.

Aroma of citrus, lemon, coriander, spicy yeast, peppery notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. A bit on the thin side. Otherwise okay peppery Belgian Ale.
