Upfront bright fresh apple aroma. Mixed in is some honey, and big floral notes. The regualr cider adds a great tartness that i can totally equate to the mcintosh apples. The iced cider makes a bit of an appearance in the finish with a dewy sweet apple honey finish. Very nice stuff, incredibly easy drinking, dangerous! --- Beer merged from original tick of La Face Cachée de la Pomme Bulle No. 1 on 28 Feb 2025 at 05:22 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Well no surprises here, it tastes like what you would expect a champagne with apples would taste like. Dry, bubbly apple juice. Refreshing, and quite nice. I enjoyed it.

750ml bottle. 2005 Vintage.
pours a clear light yellow, looks like white wine. Aroma is big on apples with a touch of honey, and some alcohol. Flavour is very much like their iced wine, just a tad less sweet, and the mouthfeel is nowhere near as thick. This is excellent stuff, its like apple wine. Really great apple flavour, once again La Face Cachee De La Pomme shows us why they are one of the worlds best cideries.

just like their neige cider, but the oak really adds another dimension. You can really tatse the oak, and a touch of vanilla, mixed with the sweet thick apples, and honey, this is intense, and so tasty

amazing aroma of thick syrupy apples, with loads of honey, and some floral notes. The flavour is much of the same. so sweet, and a touch sour, and exceptional cider

Mondiale ’07 sample.
WOW. WOW. WOW.
dark golden color. Thick on the palate. Aroma is obviously apples, but there is underlying honey, and slight floral notes. Flavour is incredible! perfect apples, and some honey. Alcohol is nowhere to be found. Outstanding cider.

wow.....amazing bright gold color.
aroma is beautiful! sweet ripe apples, brown sugar, and a tinge of white wine. Mouthfeel is thick, and sweet, but not cloying. Flavour is again, beautiful ripe apples. The apples just burst in your mouth, and coat your palate. let it warm a bit, and the apples are even more intense, now i see why this is top 3 in thw world. Absolutely outstanding!

Bottle, 2012 harvest. Clear amber. Sweet and sour apple, soft caramel, earthy, leathery. Quite sweet and sour, very crisp and fresh, tons of aroma but no dusty masking of aromas. Full bodied. Amazing.

375 ml bottle shared by Willrunforbeer. Thank you! Aroma is bold fresh pressed apples, toffee and just a touch of granny smith like nuance. The flavor shows a mild tart apple with a mildly sweet finish. Yet shows just enough tartness. Just awesome.

Poured from 200mL bottle (2014 vintage). Clear copper with no head. Sweet stewed apples, treacle, lots of depth, solid depth. Excellent.

Intense nose of ripe, red apples, sweet. Smooth flavors of apples with hints of candy sugar. Full body. Well hidden alcohol and a long, warming finish.
