Description
Founded in 2011, Geaghan Bros. Brewing Co. is the family owned and operated microbrewery part of the iconic Geaghan’s Pub Family of businesses.
At the turn of the century, there were well over 2000 breweries in the United States. Many of them were small, serving a restaurant, a neighborhood, a city, or a region. American breweries produced a wide variety of styles - pale ale, pilsner, strong ale, brown ale, porter, steam beer, and more. American brewing was a culture as varied and vibrant as the culture of America itself, invigorated by immigrants and the beer and food traditions they brought with them.
With these traditions and history in mind, GBB is proud of our craft and producing quality, local beer.
Come visit us at Geaghan's Pub or at our Tasting Room in Brewer at our Production Facility.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a brilliant light gold color without much head at all. Bready cereal graininess bits of fruity earthy hops with a hint of astringency. Not bad.

16 ounce draft in Bar Harbor Maine. Typical of parents in aroma. Body is REAL thin for a oatmeal stout. Watery texture. The Blueberry Mojito my friend had is far superior over the beer! I don’t drink many mixed drinks. Perhaps time for a recipe redo on this one?

40 oz. draft at Maine Beer Cafe, Kittery. It has been years since I saw a Irish ale on draft, say what?!? Draft. Lightly deeper red color, thin lasting head. Aroma is Vienna and Earthy malts. Flavor is straight forward and plain. Mild grain bill (toffee, sweet malts) with some light lager yeast in the backend. No issues or flaw just very simple.

Golden with a white head. Lightly floral and a hint of spice. Medium bodied. Not a whole lot going on. Decent.

Nitro at the pub. Clear copper with a tight foamy cap. Clean malt driven profile with toast and light earthy hop notes. Medium body. Very clean and not a flavor powerhouse. A nice beer to wash down some wings.
