Description
Formerly known as Shepton Mallet Cider Mill. After Matthew Clark was acquired by Constellation Brands in 1998, it consolidated its cider production at Gaymers in Shepton Mallet. In 2010, it sold the business to C&C Group in January 2016. In the same year Brothers Cider bought C&C Group's cider operations in Shepton Mallet.

Bottle @ Hele Billies, Ilfracombe. Pale golden with a light carbonation. Has a light, sticky-sweet apple taste, but a very ordinary one. Its aroma is light too.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Listed as Dry but the ABV matches up with this one at 6%. Clear golden orange. Aromas of sweet apples, sugar. Tastes of sweet sugary apples. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Sauda. ABV is 5%. Clear golden colour, pours fizzy with a small and short-lived white head. Decent aroma of cider apples, oak and sulphites. Light bodied, slightly watery mouthfeel. Dry flavour, cider apples and a hint of sulphites. Short finish.

Can shared with JMD at HNB 22.06.16. Clear golden. Head quickly disappearing to nothing. Aroma of baking yeast at first, then aroma of standard cider. Artificial taste and mouthfeel. No great.

Boks fra polet i Straensenteret, delt med Ovesen: klar gylden, så og si uten skum. Aroma av brødgjær og sure epler. Syrlig og tørr smak som ikke gir meg noen som helst glede.

Pianka typowa mala i pecherzykowa. Szampanowe wysycenie z bąbelkami. Jasna barwa zapach jabłek i smak jabłek deserowych. Ogolnie za słodkie i nawet przesłodzone gdyż w składzie cukier, a jakby było tego mało to i substancja sladzaca, pewnie aspartam. Nie dziekuje.

Bottle from Quality Save, Manchester. Reddish-pink in colour with a small carbonation. Fairly sweet with the strawberry the most dominant of the fruits in both aroma and taste.

16oz can pours out a crisp copper topped with a small head. nose is lots of sweet strawberry soda and a touch of pear. Taste is more of the sweet strawberries and light pear notes.
