Pours a clear yellow colour and a frothy white head with some retention throughout. Aroma's of wheat, lemon, light coriander, light grain. Retronasal it's sweetish, fruity, lemony, grainish. Flavour is light sweet, light lemony sour. Light bodied. Some bitterness in the finish. Pleasant.

0.75 l bottle from 'Slijterij Berendsen', 8.0% abv, bottled in September 2022. Slightly hazy, ruby with a medium large, dense, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and a bit yeasty aroma of caramel, raisins, strawberry jam and plum. Fairly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity and quite yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, raisins, prunes, strawberry jam, marzipan, some overripe banana and hints of chocolate, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Christmas ale, quite nuanced, complex and fairly saturating, actually very festive. Way better than expected, highly resembles the classic Belgian Christmas ales, nice surprise.

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before February 2025. Clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, gently resiny aroma of mango, orange jam, grapefruit and some pine. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity and a bit resiny taste of orange jam, mango, grapefruit and light pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent beer, nice flavours. Quite sweet though, rather tame for a West Coast IPA.

It"s other Koekoek indeed. My bottle claims 6% as well as 30 IBU... Small, just off-white head over well-carboanted darker golden beer. Greenery, herbs, bit gassy, watercolourpaint, yeastfeatures, spices. Bit peppery, spicy - boosted by the very present carbonation. Main taste has some sweeter maltsweet, but the finish is dry bitter(ish), with again the stamp of the CO². Light body if quite slick. Almost overcarbonated. Acceptable, even as a Saison.

Medium, stable, lightly yellowish head over cold hazed, lively carbonated darker golden beer. "Hot" nose - caramel, toast, yeast, fresh malt, greenmalt even (cucumber), and fresh yeast. Smells like a fermenting room. Toast, caramel, and yeast again, but enriched with a rather fresh hoppy bitterness. Tangy, not C-hops but neither raw bitterness, which keeps hanging around. Faint honey retronasal, warming up exotic fruit. Spritzy carbonation, quite slick, medium bodied at best, gristslick. Nice beer, likeable.

Can 33cl. from Boerenjongens deli, Amsterdam @poured into a shaker. Slightly unclear pale amber colour, good frothy white head, dissipating slowly. Somewhat shy dank aroma, mango, stone fruit, melon, pine, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grain, grapefruit, piney bitterness, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, lingering dry bittersweet aftertaste, husky notes, solid somewhat boorish IPA, nice.
