0.33 l can from 'Slijterij Berendsen', best before November 2024. Hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, rather fruity and a bit resiny aroma of guava, lemon and some pine. 1st July 2023 Almost clear deep amber beer, tidy tan head. Quite an estery snout, touch of spice as well. Soft airy palate, modest fine carbonation. Soft creamy malts, trace of caramel. Esters carry over from the nose but they are 95% soft fruity esters, almost no bubblegum and that works well here. The Jaegermeister barrelling brings very soft aniseed and herb. Finishes smooth with estery fruitiness becoming almost a ripe candy berry fruitiness. Trace of mellow Coca Cola. Smooth and mildly dry finish finds all flavours coming together. Unusual, rich in flavour and pretty darn quaffable!
