1st July 2023 Almost clear deep amber beer, tidy tan head. Quite an estery snout, touch of spice as well. Soft airy palate, modest fine carbonation. Soft creamy malts, trace of caramel. Esters carry over from the nose but they are 95% soft fruity esters, almost no bubblegum and that works well here. The Jaegermeister barrelling brings very soft aniseed and herb. Finishes smooth with estery fruitiness becoming almost a ripe candy berry fruitiness. Trace of mellow Coca Cola. Smooth and mildly dry finish finds all flavours coming together. Unusual, rich in flavour and pretty darn quaffable!

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before November 2024. Almost clear, golden with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral aroma of gooseberry, pineapple and some lemon peel. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral taste of grains, lemon peel, pineapple and some gooseberry, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Fairly bland brew, don't get how it's supposed to be a hoppy Witbier either but rather a Wheat Ale. Disappointing.
