0.33 l can from 'Bierwinkelier.nl', best before March 2026. Slightly hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite herbal-spicy, gently yeasty aroma of banana, sage, clove and honey. Gently sweet, malty, fairly herbal-spicy and rather yeasty taste of banana, clove, honey, lots of sage and some vanilla, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Interesting one, might not be to everyone's liking, maybe a bit unbalanced.

Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma of yeasty white bread, pepper, bandage, caramel. Taste is mildly sweet and lightly spiced with a faint fruity twist at the finish. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation, smooth. Not the most aromatic but goes down real easy.

Can 33cl. from Boerenjongens deli Amsterdam (unfortunately closed since June 2024) @home poured into a chalice. Pitch black, good frothy tan head, slowly dissipating, light lacing. Aroma dark roasted malt, brown caramel, cocoa powder, light vanilla, maple syrup, nutty notes. Taste light light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, roast, dark chocolate, maply syrup, vanilla, nutty notes. Full-bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lingering roast bitterness, chocolate, maple still present, alcohol well-hidden, rich and smooth, excellent.
