Hazy guava pink sort of colour. The fruit is in the aroma, with some sharp acidity. Quite tart, with a hint of something...not quite right? On the palate, it's tart, some plum, but not super bright.

750ml (thx, Marc-Antoine G.!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: murky peachy colour with a weak white head. Aroma: so much of bugs, funk, grapes, and tannins. Taste: along the same lines, loads of the grape must, and for whatever reason it is also smoky. Overall: interesting, a quite nice aroma, but it's going a bit too much to the tannins side.

Hazy with a bit of orange. There's some pedio on the nose, light stone fruit note. This has a lactic note, lots of pedio, more orange and peach, and a bit of grapeyness. I like this, nice tannins in the finish. I'm okay with the pedio, honestly. The barrel brings it home.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy golden color ale with a medium size white foamy head. Aroma of light tart notes with some funky ester and light apple notes. Taste is also a mix of tart notes with light oak notes, funky ester with some light funky cider notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Nice hybrid between a sour and some wild apple cider.

(750ml bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours lightly hazed pale amber with a thick eggshell head and some lace. Notes of spicy rye cereals, lightly sweet and lightly to moderately tart thanks to lactic tones of yellow plum and a little pale citrus, floral and slightly minty boreal herbs, touch of conifer resin, finish is very dry and lightly tart with the conifer bitters, dried flowers, labrador tea and spicy rye grains all noticeable into the aftertaste. Light bodied, smooth bottle conditioned light carbonation. Solid boreal saison, definitely atypical but very interesting if not the most chuggable.

Mooch tasting, courtesy of Sergey
Pale blond colour, cloudy. The aroma is funky and lemony. Soft mouthfeel, just some mild acidity; it has a good lemony character, complex bugs, funk, and zesty astringency.
Interesting.
