Can. Clear pale yellow with a small but decent white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and stone fruits. Taste follows aroma plus sweet grains and malts. Very dry finish. Low to moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Well I can’t really make head or tail of it.

440ml can. Slightly cloudy, copper-ish, dark amber colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, moderately lacing, off-white head. Slightly toasty and bready, malty as well as minimally caramel malty aroma, hints of brown bread crust, minimally herbal, hoppy overtones. Taste is slightly toasty and bready malty, minimally caramel malty, mildly bitter minimally fruity and minimally herbal hoppy, hints of brown bread crust, a touch of mint and orange.
Slightly creamy texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, very dense, mildly prickly carbonation.

Can consumed at Camping Nový Rybník nr Nepomuk after a lovely day in Plzen, Friday 10th July 2026. We set out from the campsite earlier and after a 7km hike then short train ride from Nepomuk arrived in Plzen then a few hours, few beers, lovely time and train back at 17:09. Pours almost amber in colour with a large white head, decent clarity.. Aroma is malty with a faint hint of smoke. Taste is fruity, there's a little smokiness, very light bitterness, not sure that I can pick up much else, Drinking this out of a hard plastic glass, head retention is poor in this glass and I wonder whether the whole experience is let down by the glass choice? I have another can so may re-rate if it cones across better out of a decent glass. Score: 6.5

Purchased at Munich in one beer shop, not so far than the train station, october 2024. Opening this can yesterday night before to sleep, hot and well brewed vollbier more subtle than the industrial ones, malty, touch of honey, fruity, bitter, good.

Can. Clear dark orange with a proper big white head. Aroma of smoke, meat and a certain fruitiness. Taste of smoke, malts, cherries and some citrus fruits. Low bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Very balanced. An outright refreshing smoked beer is something I don’t meet everyday. Bravo.
