Bottle: Poured a clear reddish color ale with a medium off-white foamy head with light retention and some lacing. Aroma of cherry and oak with light tart notes is pleasant and refreshing. Taste is a nice mix of cherry and oak notes with some light tart notes with hints of residual sugar notes. Body is about average with medium carbonation. Very pleasant and refreshing take on the style without the level of complexity of Rodenbach.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow/beige color ale with a nice large off-white foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of grainy unrefined malt notes with some dry bitter hops notes also noticeable. Taste is an off-balance mix with some grainy unrefined malt notes that are too dominant with some dry citrusy hops notes with a bitter finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Messy and off-balance.

Bouteille 750 ml. Olfactif un peu ‘’off’’ avec un peu de fruits tropicaux, de gazon (dry hop), mais surtout une étrange odeur de sueur ou quelque chose du genre. Une mousse blanche, crémeuse, un doigt s’attarde sur un liquide doré orangé. En bouche, une impression aqueuse frôlant l’insipidité s’impose en entrée, laissant ensuite la place à une amertume verte et résineuse à la limite du savonneux, frisant la légère astringente. Le fruité des houblons et de la levure peine à s’exprimer. On est loin ici des bonne NEIPAS du Vermont. Pas très impressionné.
