This is a devastatingly successful super porter. It features a powerful nose of fresh roasted coffee, some ashiness, and unsweetened coffee. A frothy tan head with a very deep brown body colour. The taste is popping fresh, with roasted coffee, popcorn, saltiness, butter, peanut butter, smoke and an unexpected hop bitterness. It has a super rich body for a 6.7% abv beer, way above the richness expected for a porter. An undercurrent of ripe dark fruit finishes off a powerhouse taste profile. Exceptional brewing.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Citrus notes, Moderate bitter flavor. pine and citrus notes. Average finish. Oily palate.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour with big, frothy, off-white head. Hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, dried apricots, pine needles and honey. Malty, hoppy taste with apricots, grapefruit, pine needles, honey, grainy malt and a generous citris, piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced IPA. Very nice.

Bottle at home. Dark brown with tan head. Sweetish vanilla, milk chocolate, touch of soy sauce. Some roast. Surprisingly good for the age!

Botella 75 cl de Bélgica. Tomada en Belmonte 13..05..2020. Color oscuro casi negro turbio con espuma beige oscuro que desaparece al poco tiempo casi por completo. Sabores intensos maltosos y cereales ligeramente tostados con dulces caramelos acabando algo seca. Toques de licor tipo vino añejo y ajerezaso claros al final con suaves toques de maderas humedas avinadas. Cueepo mesio a intenso con bastante sabor, fina y no muy densa. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna. Destacar el toque ajerezado añejo en el regusto final.

(Bottle) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of citrus, lemon, lemon curd, lime, hay, barnyard and a touch of honey. A bit perfumy. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, lemon, lemon peel, hay, white bread, tart fruit and honey. Medium body, dry. Low bitterness. Fresh and tasty, leaning towards lambic territory, with a good splash of citrus. Very nice.
