Little cloudy amber beer, big fizzy yellowish head, unstable, falls down pretty fast. Aroma: fruity start, pineapple, bit chemical, nail polish remover. MF: lots of carbon, light to medium body. Taste: lots of citrus, bit grassy, bitter hops, some tobacco, dry. Aftertaste: bitter, some grapefruit, little fruity, bit sweet, passion fruit and pineapple.

Bottle @ home shared with the gf. Hazy deep orange with a huge white head. Smells hops, grapefruit, fresh. Tastes mandarin, hops, grapefruit, fresh. Quite a lot of carbo, medium body.

Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy beautyful orange colour with a big white head. Makes me thirsty looking at it. Smells hops, grapefruit, fresh, nice. Tastes very fresh and refreshing, grapefruits, hops.. Amazing IPA taste. The only downside of this beer is the amount of carbo. It’s too much and it takes away the drinkability of this beer. I’m thirsty and I want to pour this stuff down my throat. The carbo doesn’t allow for this without getting teary eyes and huge burps.

Bottle sampled at Gouda Winterbier festival. Pours hazy brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of bourbon, whiskey, vanilla, fudge and light chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle side by side with the normal version. This one is slightly darker in color, but with the same beautiful head as its younger brother. Aroma is whiskey and vanillaa. Taste is. Utterscoth and coffee, subtle vanilla. Very nice.

Bottle tasted in the friendly company of Henk the brewer. Vert dark maroon color, brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of slightly smokey burnt melba toast. Taste is roasty bitter cocoa, coffee grounds. Nicely balanced. Light body. Very flavorful.

Bottle sampled at Gouda Winter Beer festival. Pours clear brown with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and flour. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft but prickly carbonation.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, lasting, lacing, off-white head. Fruity hoppy aroma has notes of tangerine, grapefruit, resin. Taste is initially citrusy sourish, biting bitter hoppy with notes of tannic acid, later flat dry grassy; lively carbonated.

via trade met MaartenRF10, nog bedankt ! amber/oranje van kleur, met gigantische schuimkraag. smaak: deze versie was behoorlijk aan de zurige kant, dat kan wellicht komen door de zure tonen van de grapefruit, verder waren voor mij de geuren van mandarijn, iets van exotisch fruit (ik kan wel gokken maar weet niet precies welke geuren), en ananas te herkennen. afdronk: droog, bitter, zurg, bitter en fruitig, voor mij toch een vreemd biertje, ben enkel benieuwd of de hoge zuurgraad standaard bij dit bier is of dat ik een exceptionele variant had .
